2 Ply Elbow Sleeves (3XL)

NOT YOUR AVERAGE SLEEVES Unlike neoprene elbow sleeves, these IRON APE elbow sleeves are made from 2 layers of an elasticated weave material. This makes them strong and powerful while maintaining the extra flexibility that the elbow joint needs. It also makes them give a superior compression compared to fabric or neoprene sleeves. WHY USE SLEEVES: Heavier lifts. The stronger bounce back, spring-like action of the sleeves allows for more reps and more weight to be used. They also help to stimulate the blood flow, keep the joints warm, and are known to increase the awareness of where the joints are during exercise movements. These sleeves are thick, tough and strong while still being flexible enough to be comfortable and highly functional. SIZING & HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF: Refer to the sizing chart in the photos. To identify the size you need, have someone measure around the middle of your elbow joint, against bare skin. Keep your arm straight and muscles relaxed while measuring. If you have larger biceps or forearms, going a size up may give a better fit and extra comfort. We offer sizes XS to 5XL CARING FOR YOUR SLEEVES We recommend hand-washing with water and mild detergent. DO NOT tumble dry. These sleeves are made of material that is not suitable for drying in the tumble drier and can damage the material over time. Allow to air dry. Squeeze the water gently from the sleeves. DO NOT wring them. As they are thick, they will take more time to dry so it is recommended that you take your training schedule into account when washing or purchase a second pair to use during this time.

• SUPPORT TO GO HEAVIER: Like our 3-ply knee sleeves, these 2-ply elbow sleeves are made from a strong, tight elasticated weave making them seriously tough and give a strong bounce back at the bottom of movements, such as chest and shoulder press, compared to normal neoprene-based sleeves, allowing for heavier lifts and greater support. Suitable for all strength training lifts like Strongman, Powerlifting, Bodybuilding and Weightlifting.
• REDUCE PAIN & INJURY: These thick, 2-ply sleeves keep the joint warm throughout the lift with extra compression to hold the joint in the optimum position and increase blood flow. Warmth and compression are key elements of keeping the joints healthy and free of injury through repeated heavy lifting.
• MATERIALS: These are not made from softer neoprene like most elbow sleeves. The elastic weave throughout the material is designed to give the maximum support and compression for the elbow joint and give superior performance.

• PAIR WITH: We also have a range of 3-ply sleeves made from the same tough, elasticated weaved material. While these are mainly focused as being for the knees, you could quite comfortably use 2-ply for knees, and/or 3-ply for elbows. The choice is yours, but during testing we found that the 2-ply worked best on elbow, and 3-ply for the knees.
